Hillary said Trump was a puppet of Russia during one of the debates. Did the media grab the story and run with it? No, it'd hurt their main objective which was to get Trump elected so they could pretend to be outraged when they repeat his lies dozens of times a day. Reid also strongly hinted about Russia and Trump. Again, did they do anything about it? No. They had two sources telling them there was something big going on with Russia and Trump but they looked the other way (and printed his latest lie instead). You and I see the world in two different ways. You think good will win. Whatever happens will be a one day story after which they'll go back to being outraged over his latest tweet. I think you underestimate how easy it is for him to control them.
