I love how they leaked this at the last second after earnings.. this stock is going to tank so hard tomorrow I can taste it.

OC, get a life.<G>

Now, I'm no Yahoo! bull (yes I am; no I'm not; yes ...), but why is this prospectus such big news? Its the same 850m shares registered via S-3 filing last week. There is no new development here! Yes, the SoftBank/GeoCities shares are being sold. And the Four11 shares are being sold as well. And the earnings excitement - oops - Yahoo!ment gives them the perfect market to sell into. Anybody surprised at the timing? Look how many bulls came out of the woodwork on this thread tonight. And look at how many bears want to run away and hibernate (many growl a lot though).

Bob

OC, when are you going to learn your lesson. Like I said, Yahoo is going to make 17th century tulip bulbsa look cheap. Do you know how much tulip bulbs traded for?

>>>In 1636 a Tulip in Amsterdam, it was the rare Viceroy strain, sold for the following price:

Two Lasts of wheat
Four Lasts of Rye
Four Fat Oxen
Eight fat Swine
Twelve Fat Sheep
Two Hogsheads of wine
Four tuns of beer
Two tuns of Butter
One thousand lbs. of cheese
A complete bed
A suit of clothes
A silver drinking cup

The market for Tulips collapsed in November 1636
