Carolyn,I'm not the right one to ask about options.I became heavily involved with calls shortly after they were introduced to the marketplace(before puts were even available). I thought they were the greatest and did quite well...for a time. After a year or so, I took stock and found I had lost enough to have bought that Porsche 911 I'd always wanted. I took the pledge and haven't violated it since.(Never did get that Porsche, but I grew to like BMWs more, anyway.

WIND has ignored most Technicals lately and I was frankly surprised when the price moved so easily up to the 40 range. At the time,36 to 37 looked like strong resistance and she just ignored it. I still feel 30 to 31 is good support. WIND has always seemed most comfortable when earnings growth rate and PE are about equal(about where we are now).

I have a lot of respect for Jason's opinions and I can't say events won't unfold as he describes;however,I do feel that if the case for the investment is properly made, the damage will be minimal. The loss to MWAR of the Nortel business bothers me more than the investment.

The 400,800 share trade showed up on Internet Trader's screen as a single trade but that's no guarantee!

Good luck on your options--maybe someone will comment later.

Mitch

For anyone interested, SI has a thread discussing these "candlesticks" that Mitch keeps talking about...
