Good evening Stephen and Laptev, here are some of the other analysts' opinions:

Tuesday afternoon, Intel Corp reported 4th quarter earnings of $0.98 versus $1.06 for the year ago period. 4th quarter earnings did however come in higher than wall street expectation of $0.90 a share for the quarter.

Revenue totaled $25.1 billion in 1997, up from $20.8 billion in 1996. Net income was $6.9 billion or $3.87 per share, up from $5.2 billion or $2.90 per share in 1996.

The company expects revenue for the first quarter of 1998 to be
approximately flat with fourth quarter revenue of $6.5 billion. R & D
spending is expected to be approximately $2.8 billion for 1998, up from $2.3 billion in 1997.

Today Soundview chip analyst Scott Randall cut his forecast for Intel
Corp's 1998 earnings to $3.77 a share from $3.84 a share. He went on to set a 1999 earnings per share forecast at $4.40 a share. He kept his Intel ratings at short-term hold and long-term buy.

Intel was upgraded to a TRADING BUY by Cowen & Co from neutral while Bear Sterns downgraded Intel from a buy to neutral.

Hambrecht & Quist cuts its 1998 earnings estimate for Intel Corp to $3.61 a share from $3.90 to reflect a weak margin outlook and slow revenue growth.

Gruntal & Co said Wednesday it lowered its 1998 per-share earnings estimate on Intel Corp to $4.20 from $4.50 citing lower gross margins of 55 percent in the coming year, down from 60 percent in 1997.

Have a good evening *****************GO INTEL******************

Take care,
Margaret
