Paul, I don't disagree that Intel stock won't rise. It will eventually. So will AMD. Intel was flat in 97 and will be in most of 98. With $4.00 bucks in earnings it will trade to 60.00 @ pe 15 which is still generous for a company growing at 15% it's just not going back to $100.00 PE 26. That bubble has burst. Normaly historicaly average Intel trades at 15. That's were it's headed. If Japan slides into a deep recession the Pe can fall to 7 and with week trading the stock price could bottom out at $20.00 Intel chart fulcrum point for it's long term trend line. All this has nothing to do with the excellece in technology.
