Not to mention the Retina display issues on MacBook Pro’s since 2013 (and continuing today). The coating comes off the display, even when only using water and a microfiber cloth to clean it. Apple has done a “silent” replacement program (you have to know about it, there was no publication of the issue or program). I have replaced mine once, some folks have replaced theirs three or four times. The replacement screens have the same problem ...... as do new MacBook Pros.

Its interesting phone sales were flat, but average selling price is up, meaning of course consumers are shying away from anything except top of the line.

One thought... the 6S slumped after the innovative larger screen of the 6. Just a thought.

Its also interesting the watches are selling so well. It reinforces my belief that watches will be the new phones when the tech shrinks enough and battery problems are solved and AI provides the interface watches need. The phone may go the way of the computer, gradually declining in importance.

> I hope not only that Apple turns the computer sales around, but that they want to.

At this point, with Ive and company breaking open the Marin County champagne... they really have no reason to bother about anything Mac except increase prices.

I mean wadda' ya gonna do? Where ya going to go? And why should Apple care? I think its pretty obvious that Macs are kind of a "don't bother me with that" product in light of all the cash flowing in from everything else.
