Hi Joe, Those look more like tax loss selling or Christmas money, although Ricart has dumped a good percentage of his holdings over the past year. I'm not sure what to think about Novonyx, except that the companies constant statements about looking to buy some start ups to enhance their product offerings always seemed to point in that direction. It might also be interesting to note that Netscapes market cap is a lot closer to Novells $1 billion in cash than it was a few months ago. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything but I thought it was interesting. www1.newsalert.com The choice of browser to be used in the Yahoo/MCI deal being up for grabs caught my attention also. www1.newsalert.com A lot of Schmidts speeches have made references to e-commerce which is what Netscape seems to be buying up. Novonyx still strikes me as a "let's live together for awhile before getting married" kind of deal. Novells job site has enough tech openings to absorb most of Novonyx without any problem. Novell still has to show Wall Street something besides declining NetWare sales before they will get any respect. The glowing press releases about new products and partnerships never do much for the stock price. Take over rumors and personal changes are usually worth a couple bucks though. Regards, Don
