Rob, thanks for this information clarifying the fact that USWDA has competition. I was under the impression that they had the only patented technology, that could process credit cards in 3-5 seconds.

On rereviewing the Dec. article on the TRANZ enabler I see that it isn't sold to Verifone, but instead can be used with existing TRANZ Verifone terminals as shown in the excerpt below:

"USWD's proprietary enabling technology, TRANZ Enabler, converts a merchant's existing dial-up TRANZ VeriFone credit-card terminal into a high-speed wireless terminal."

I appreciate your post clarifying this issue. If anyone else out there can shed more light in this area it would be great. Does USWDA sell to Verifone and if so how much? How big of a threat is the competition?
