I tried to retrieve the trading history before 12/01/97, got nothing. Does anyone else get the same result? I was planning to print out a list for my tax filing. Now what do I do? The written confirmation is not always on time.

Has anyone out there written a Windows front-end for Datek yet?

Datek's HTML and CGI calls seem to be pretty standard. One could make it do all kinds of cool stuff like combining dynamic quotes, dynaminc open orders and dynamic portfolio on one page, one click order entry for baskets of stocks, stock alerts, finding fastest server, data export, customized look and feel, etc. With MFC's WinInet making Internet stuff easy, the only problem should be the maintenance when Datek makes changes to HTML.

I could write one but I don't really need it that bad since I use a separate quote service but for many Datek customers it could be a nice value-added kind of thing.
