Longnshort, did you see what the NYTimes had to say about Sarah Jeong, their new member of the editorial board?

New York Times defends newest hire Sarah Jeong amid controversy over racist tweets
Her journalism and the fact that she is a young Asian woman have made her a subject of frequent online harassment. For a period of time she responded to that harassment by imitating the rhetoric of her harassers. She sees now that this approach only served to feed the vitriol that we too often see on social media. She regrets it, and The Times does not condone it.
How's that for some grade A bullshit? Here's the "logic" of the NYTimes, point-by-point:

1) Her hateful tweets are OK because she's a "young Asian woman" who's the subject of frequent online harassment. Really? You mean only certain races, genders, and age groups get harassed online?

2) Her hateful tweets are OK because she's "imitating the rhetoric of her harassers." PURE BULLSHIT. You have to own up to your own actions, plain and simple.

3) No, I guarantee you that she knew this approach would "feed the vitriol," but she didn't give a damn because she just had to get her hatred off her chest. She graduated from Harvard Law, so she isn't ignorant nor stupid unlike most of the libtards on this thread.

4) Yeah, I'm sure she "regrets" it now, just like Roseanne regretted tweeting about Valerie Jarrett. Guess who's unemployed now? It's not the liberal, that's for sure.

5) Yeah sure the Times does not condone her behavior. Uh huh. Had she tweeted about any other race, the Times would have fired her in a microsecond.

Next time someone tweets something "offensive" and gets canned for it, I will use Sarah Jeong as an example of the left's double-standard. A clearer example I cannot find.
