No question about it. The gut instinct is important and TA is not as reliable with these as with the larger stocks. Sounds like you have been edified into that development as I have. the question posed to Jodi was one that any trader would ask and that is what does she look for to bring her to her success. If you are a fisherman, and you go fishing what are the conditions that tell you the fish are there and that they will bite? Instinct can usually be boiled down into a few words. Many good traders prefer not to take the time to discuss their techniques but when they start they can usually describe their vision. After the questions are visualized and answered the person giving the answer is usually better at his art than before because he has more clearly for himself defined his method of performance. The fact that traders like to talk is why we have more than just tech stocks on SI.

There are always rules that govern any decision as you recall from the books you asked for me to recommend to you (BTW, how are you doing with those, esp Elder"s book?). Denying such will usually lead to disaster.

Cents, thanks for reviving this thread. After I watch for a while I may just decide to join in. Looks like great fun and a talented group here. Might take a while before I am as good as Jodi. But Jodi, keep going and we all shall learn from you in this art of the pennies market.
