Because his entire Cabinet said Russian meddling wasn't a hoax and the Lying President said it was. BTW it's a very BAD thing Trump got along very well with his boss. We need an American President who will stand up to Putin, not bow down to him. He doesn't have to box him, but he should say have the guts to say he;s lying. And Trump can't do that.
