Intel is a great long term investment. Good opportunity to load while the tech sector is overly negative. Look at AT&T when we loaded at low $30s a few months back when everyone was so overly negative on T, now our ATT have double in value. INTC will do the same. ALSO research recent bottomed great stocks: PCTH, AMAT, QNTM, COMS, HKT, TLCM

Gary,

Ah, now I understand why my investment in INTC is wrong.

I didn't say that. I think 70's is a fair value of INTC.

I should switch to AMD instead. With red P&L most of the time, there is always upward potential which is not a mere percentage increase but from red to black, can I call it explosive growth ?

I think that's what's keeping the AMD stock where it is. There is a chance they will make a lot of money. It's kind of like owning a call option. If something extraordinary happens - unexpected profitability, you may receive more than the "premium" you paid in.

If things continue as they are, the stock will expire worthless.
