Nice attempt to redirect from socialism and health care to the military, but as you and all others on this thread know, I would gladly cut back dramatically no our military industrial complex. Now back to health care. Socialist health care costs 70% less than here in America? Socialism as whole has never in the history of man achieved lower costs and higher customer satisfaction in the long run and sustainably than capitalism. If I steal money from one group of people to subsidize another, it may look like I've achieved something in the short run, but eventually, as the socialists steal more and more money, that other group of people run out of money to subsidize the people who can't or won't produce. Socialism's "free shit" mantra is mathematically unsound. Anyone who tries to argue against mathematics is by definition illogical.

You see, ... the thing is ... for those who DIDN'T LISTEN, or perhaps DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN because they have this unfortunate bias and hatred for the current President of the United States of America, the current President of the United States of America quite CLEARLY stated, ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS THAT I CLEARLY HEARD, that he hoped that he would NEVER have to use the military might of the armed forces of the United States of America, because that was the LAST THING that he ever wanted to do .... BUT, the thing is ... you see ... if you don't want someone to "kick sand in your face", or ride rough shod over you because they know that there's nothing that you can really do about it, what any sensible leader of a country does is to make sure that anyone who thinks FOR ONE SECOND that he can abuse or threaten his country, in much the same way that a bully operates, you have to be so strong that any such idiot will never, ever, in a million years harbour any such evil thoughts. Because at the end of the day there's only one way to treat a bully, or anyone threatening your country. You make yourself SO STRONG that that becomes your perennial SAFEGUARD for the future. And for a country such as the United States of America that means that you have to spend a good amount of money, up front, on your military. You won't, necessarily, have to spend that same large amount again in the short term. And then .... you see .... there are other important aspects as well. The United States of America has very good friends and allies out there. And they don't have the same degree of financial resources as does America, especially when it comes to spending on their military. Take NATO, for example. The USA contributes about 70% of its Revenue. Once Everyone starts paying their required dues, that may fall to about 65%. BUT, ... you see ... the important thing is that these countries rely on America to cover their backs if anyone decides to "bully" any of the other 26 countries, because NO ONE will then "mess with the USA" ... and that puts America in a powerful position with regard to those 26 countries for many other practical reasons, ... quite a few of them having to do with TRADE and FINANCE, because they REALLY NEED AMERICA. You saw a good example of that when that EU twerp came over and IN ONE DAY, the President of the United States of America sorted him out. And that, in turn, means contracts and jobs for BONA FIDE American CITIZENS, irrespective of their colour, ethnicity, political persuasion, sexual orientation, etc, etc..... So .... you see .... it's not really rocket science ... you just have to stop and think for a minute ... don't let your emotional side run away with you .... apply some logic ... be reasonable ... wasn't that difficult now, was it ??
