Hey Jeff,

Now let me get this straight. Are you saying we are supposed to TEST our remediated code? Well, I never! That settles it - I'm definitely taking my code to one of those remediate while you wait places! Then I'll drop by FBN headquarters in Sedona and in a minute or two I'll know if they did it right. Cool!

This new FBN service would be free for FBN officers, wouldn't it?

Jeff: Re: Testing challenge ...

Now I know why FBN pays you the big bucks (Bemer bucks, that is).

Nice strategy. Charge the client to have FBN 'test' their code, then give it back to them and have them put it in production. If they find a problem, we'll return the code to the vendor that made the changes.

Wow ... why didn't I think of that? My devious side is slipping.

I sure hope this offer is good for HP3000 sites. I know a couple of remediated code samples I'd like to run tests against. Problem is, the $100,000 we charge to test the code would probably dwarf the amount that the remediator got for making them Y2K compliant.

Say, isn't it about time for another Executive Officers meeting? I'd invite the entire FBN staff, but with all this instant-testing going on, the mail room is swamped with activity and we can't afford to let poor Svejk out of his cage.
