My son has Asperger's with an IQ around 138 and a degree in math and computer science.

He's had some piddly jobs and receives disability payments.

He could work in an engineering environment, but would need a lot of guidance to keep him focused.

The company that bought my domain name specializes in placing people with Asperger's Syndrome in software jobs as they have a special talent for working with software.
About 6-7 years ago, I had a client with Asperger's. Very good developer, definitely awkward socially. While technically talented, it limited him, as he hated giving presentations or leading anything.
