Now who's the moron? Venezuela was the epitome of Democratic Socialism. They were a rich and thriving Democracy with a lot of resources, until Chavez got ELECTED. He got elected promising Socialism and free shit for the masses. Once he was elected, he confiscated the means of production, then started giving free shit away. The economy deteriorated drastically under him, but once he died and Maduro was elected to be his successor, Maduro doubled down on Democratic Socialism. Ironically, he did what all Socialists eventually do, he consolidated power by taking over the Judicial branch and Congress and then eliminating term limits, declaring himself President for Life. Under Democratic Socialism, Venezuela's economy has been destroyed and it's people are living in abject poverty, despite living in a country that has massive natural resources. Democratic Socialism is just one more path to Dictatorship. Only naive and ignorant people believe it will bring them the promised utopia. Let me clue you in. Only hard work will get you the things you want. Why don't you folks try that for a change and give up this dream of stealing all this "free" shit from other people.
