yes, she walked a fine line there. Threatening the President is absolutely a crime, as it should be. However, she's a comedian doing something she thought was funny, but that 99% of Americans thought was in poor taste. So I think a reasonable person would say she was being an idiot and should be held accountable, but not prosecuted for threatening our President. But you know, a case could be made that she engaged in hate speech intended to inflame the population into violence against the President. That's why I say she was being an idiot. She took a big risk to make a comedic statement. I think it was in very poor taste and am glad she faced career consequences as a result of it.
