I don't hate Muslims, but I think some of their religious sects are very violent and medieval. Wahabism is pretty extreme and vitriolic. Sharia Law is not something we think is anywhere near civilized over here in Western countries. We think it is quite barbaric by our standards. So yes, I think Muslims need to look inside their religion and modernize it. But that's not my main concern. My real concern is twofold. In the short run, we need to protect the American people from the potential for violent immigrants from war torn countries to come to our country and create havoc and strain an already thin welfare system. In the long run, WE need to stop meddling in the Middle East and destroying their countries and propping up dictators as in Saudi Arabia, so that they stop hating us so much and feeling the need to leave their countries in the first place. So we are the root cause of their problems in the first place. Hate Muslims? No. I sympathize. But we need to be practical and not open our borders like the Germans and other idiotic countries in Europe have done. That's just common sense.

SleazZpat,
Your first argument against Muslim was about 9/11 which was a fallacy I destroyed within seconds (because it was a fallacy).
You "destroyed" a straw man argument. Good for you.
