Beat 11 cents? I doubt they can come close. If they are lucky, they won't lose too much.

I'm not worried about the cost of this new management team - it's relatively low compared to the potential value they could bring if all goes well.

But things like $750,000/year for Gartner? could it be $75,000? I can't even imagine how you could spend $750K with Gartner. And $2 MM for a move? what the heck were those guys thinking?

Re: Does everybody really believe Centura can beat this 0.11 EPS?

I think, the will post as estimated or little better (optimistic as usual). The move to small cap market haven't made much lower price. Seems, that everybody allready expected it. Is small cap market more volatile or are big investors more interested in this market?
Centura will plan a big booth on CEBIT 98 in Munchen, so they are looking defenetly in postive future.

Where do these guys get these numbers? How often do they have to grossly over estimate before they clue in and predict reasonable numbers?

I'm hoping for a small profit. That would 7 out of the last 8 quarters profitable. What will it take to make a profitable year? Isn't it around 8 cents?

Personally, the investment I have in the development tools is much higher than my investment in the stock. Either way, going to OTC is a sad, sad thing.

Why doesn't somebody buy this company? At this point even CA is looking good.

Does everybody really believe Centura can beat this 0.11 EPS?

$0.11 eps translates to around $1.6m profit. With expenses running at $10.5m, this requires around $12m in gross profit. There was $15.5m in deferred revenues on the balance sheet at the end of last quarter.

EPS isn't a significant issue right now. They don't have any cash.
