Day Traders,

I am putting together a speech for an eclectic group of professionals on day trading. I plan to write the speech by 1/18/98 and deliver it on 1/21/98.

I am looking for stories from your experiences in day trading. Not necessarily technical or strategic in nature, but more in a human interest vein. Great triumphs, bitter losses, the emotion of trading your own money for a living.

Please post the compelling or outrageous, or even the hum drum. What causes burn out? How many are successful at the game? What are the charachter/personality traits of day traders? Do you recommend it as a career?

Thanks for any response. Also, please provide links to good posts or sites along these lines.

Thanks,
Jon Klaus

Hi Jerry, I'm not real pleased about this within the NEC not going to 300mm article.. "However, U.S.-based Sematech efforts have asked equipment suppliers to keep the cost of 300-mm tools at about 1.3 times the price of 200-mm gear. Equipment suppliers have expressed concerns about the fairness of that target since many are developing chip processes as well as the equipment."

If part of the Pacific rim bailout plan is for our government to squeeze our semi equip manufacturer's profits, that's not good..
