Well - if we could make everywhere as shitty as Alabama, Mississippi, Kansas or Oklahoma - would we be better off? Name one small state (R) garden spot that has a sustainable footprint, cares for its sick and elderly in a compassionate manner, embraces science and science-based rule, supports universal education, or any other metric of First World fitness for the citizenry.

Sure it is governing- it's the best kind of governing, good governing. Can I help it if the people of rural America hate minorities and love guns so much that they voted against their own interests? My disgust with them didn't cause them to be stupid- my disgust with them is because they are stupid. California has tons of rural people- we're a huge farming state- and we not only have one of the largest economies in the world, but we manage to attempt to protect farm workers, have enlightened environmental policies and decent health care. It's not arrogance to say what we have works- and what the dumbfuckistan states have does not work.

What Kansas is doing is not governing. California should be a model - I mean if people were logical.

And Hillary lost because of Comey and the Russians- those twits in the midwest had something to do with it too, but it's hardly Hillary's fault she wasn't a demagogue- that's a feature not a bug. The bug is that this country is filled with mindless twits who can't read a political platform. If they'd read Hillary's- or even been able to listen to a complete sentence- they would have known she wasn't ignoring them. Apparently you didn't read her platform either. Quelle surprise!
