Perhaps the people that voted for racism and Carpetbagging Yankees could give it a rest for one election cycle, either vote for the person who didn't collaborate with the Russians, or sit back and let the rationality of country's plural consensus do its thing.

I'd like to watch the movie without a hail of popcorn from the people in the back row that don't like the idea of making films that aren't filled with characters from Hee Haw or worse, the Gangs of New York.

It doesn't have to change; it just needs to find a few more states (100 electoral votes) to go along with this.

As WR pointed out, 11 states have already pledged all their electoral votes to the popular vote winner. That seems to be the avenue that will succeed the quickest. Times are changing, and you rural folks need to be put in your place.
