But one day - those chickens had to come home to roost. That day is nearing if not already here. As America sank into materialism, and debt, the Chinese built their economy. We bought military hardware and f_cked over "shithole" countries - never making them better. I said that when Shrub's crew wanted to invade Iraq - a non-player in the 9/11 attack. No attacks on Saudis or Afghanistan camps, just Iraq. At the time, I said "What is your end game? What will Iraq look like when we take out Saddam Hussein?" Oh, right - a "cakewalk" and "the oil will pay for it." The oil belonged to the Iraqi people - not us. So between Clinton and Bush, we pretty much painted ourselves into a corner. And got despised by a lot of the world in the process.
