Chinese or Russian military satellites could deliver a hydrogen bomb and detonate it over the USA, knocking out its electrical grid and communications system and frying all electronics including those in vehicles, rendering them inoperable. Hostile space weapons orbiting over the USA and waiting for instructions to deliver their nuclear payload, must be hunted and destroyed.

Nevertheless the potential threat from EMP is very real whether from the sun or a high altitude nuclear detonation.
