Yes, the purchases are supportive to the stock price, likely the only thing keeping this stock from trading at $5.50 today; however, we really need to see substantive earnings this quarter (I believe due in mid Feb). That insider buy support is only good for a few weeks if that. A blockbuster drug approval would help a lot.
Someone on Yahoo! board reported that insider purchase by Rafick Henein a few days ago. I don't know if you've been keeping up with the board, but it is a mix of complete nonsense and a little substance.

The I.R @IVX is most evasive about the Company's growth. Has Frost outlined a plan for 98. Insider buying always looks good from the outside but on this occassion the Street is not biting.
