You are right about legal backgrounds versus real business men. How did it get to the point where we have nothing but lawyers and permanent politicians running this country? During the early days of our founding, we had citizen statesmen who convened periodically to make decisions and pass laws, but then went back to their businesses for the majority of the year to go make their money. They didn't earn their money primarily off the backs of the taxpayers like today's politicians do. Think about Hillary! She never earned an honest dime in her life! Neither did Obama. Neither did Bernie. I think I might be permanently done voting for anyone who has not worked an honest day and earned an honest living. If they don't have those basic requirements, then they are not fit to be President. I'm sick and tired of career politicians, the deep state, and all the other leeches that suck the marrow from the bones of the American people and leave us with the taste of ashes in our mouths. Trump is an asshole and can be very undignified and disrespectful to just about everyone. However, he made himself into a billionaire and that doesn't happen through blind luck or through stupidity on how our economy works. I'll go with him any day on the economy over the career politicians and Socialists in the Democratic party or the bought and paid for career politicians in the Republican party.
