“In order to be a member of a flock of sheep, one must, above all, be a sheep oneself!” - Einstein

Your article quotes Dyson, “My objections to the global warming propaganda are not so much over the technical facts, about which I do not know much(1), but it’s rather against the way those people behave and the kind of intolerance to criticism that a lot of them have(2).

(1) When he says, "about which I do not know much", you should take that with a ton of salt. I would urge you to take a few minutes to watch the video below. You should not discount this man's views. He is one of the greatest resources we have today. This video, I believe was from 2015, so he would have been about 91.

(2) The intolerance and criticism is really something to be condemned in science. Feynman was clear that there is no place for the preconceived opinion in science. It is one thing to say, "Not having experimented, can offer this conjecture," identified as such. It is entirely different to spend your life on a subject in such way that you cannot afford to be wrong.

To me, it is a pretty important component of the problem. Many of the true scientists are so committed to the dogma that if they were wrong there is no way they could admit it.
