Barry; I looked not too long ago and the premiums were so dogone
high on AOL puts, looked like maybe you could maybe buy calls and
short aginst the calls cheaper than buying puts. It's an
angle worth looking at. I hear talk AOL is likley to split,
now I've never had puts or calls on hand when a stock splits.
Just what do they do with your puts and calls on a stock split,
shit you to a new strike price based on the split ?
That would seem to make sence. Say AOL is 90 , I buy puts at
S 80 , AOL splits, goes to $45, do my puts go to S $40 ?

Haven't looked at MOOV this morning, had and I guess I still have a bid, in at 1 5/16 but as of last night it didn't fill. But I had it
GTC better go look.
Jim
Just looked it still no fill last sale 1 11/32, best ask 1 3/8,
My Bid is best bid showing but the Market makers wont fill it
if she dont tick down at least to 1 9/32..they got to get at
least 1/32 or they won't handle it. Maybe I get it maybe I don't.
But I got a half of ton of it already so I'm in no hurry.
Jim

Read a news item on IBD:

An army(or navy) man was discharged because of homosexuality.
Evidence: Profile "Gay" on AOL.
This person was identified as Timothy McVay, no relation
to the real Oklahoma bomber.

Barry, As someone said, patience is the mother of profit. Earnings report, 2-fer stock split, probably a barrage of PR releases in support of both those events--all upcoming over the next few weeks and presenting a better put-opportunity. I'm still looking for 100+ over the next few weeks.
Best,
-Steve
