He's been on the board of RACO for a least a couple of years.
You can see him listed on last year's 10-k and I remember seeing
the press announcement when he joined the board in '95 or so.
The new announcement is that he's taking over as chairman.

Certianly not for any *secret* worries about CDN. I would guess he built the business to a billion dollars, is richer than he needs to be, wants to devote more time to his kids, and generally wanted out of the rat race. CDN will top 1 billion in 98. The service side is going to be HUGE in 98, and this will be the case good times or bad. Look for .31 for Q4/97 and revised EPS's in the 1.25-1.28 range for 1998.

CDN. I've heard that Don Murray is no longer head of the UDS group (Unified Design System). Can anyone confirm/deny this? What, if anything, does it mean to CDN given that Don Murray made the decision to chose CDN as its "preferred vendor"? See CDN press release dated July 22, 1997.
