Glen, thats why you got to get cable modem access. It's F*****g unbelieveable. 40x faster than ISDN. Downloaded a file that woulda taken 48 minutes w/ a 28.8, took 15 seconds! BTW OSX broke thru 100! Time for FGII to join the party.

[Off topic]

Had the same problem and had to throw some $$ at my 166 mhz Pentium system, including a 56K modem and a memory upgrade to 90+ megabytes. The modem and dumping AOL probably helped the most. The memory allowed me to increase the cache memory used by Netscape Communicator. This helped also. I actually open two or more Netscape sessions at the same time, one I keep permanently connected to quote.com, the other I browse between SI, eschwab, Yahoo quotes, etc. Don't know if you have the same flexibility. I strongly reccomend the 4.04 version of Communicator, as earlier version tended to crash my system. It still crashes occasionally, but its tolerable.
