Theracour owns all the IP, including manufacturing process, scale up, and andnother “trade secrets” developed and created by their employees. NNVC does not have any lab techs on their payroll. That is how Dr. Anil made it certain that even if Nanoviricides were acquired, he would still own and control all the “IP” as you call it.

Sorry.

Wow, this is a pretty complex concept for me!

What do I think?

Know how beats patents and bashers.

Patents are great for Apple, Samsung, IBM but us, now, today?

A wise old judge charged with assessing the patent system years go said that if he were starting in the beginning he would not recommend a patent system. But since there is one in existence he would not recommend abolishing it. It gives one a chance against the oligarchs who really control our lives. It's a red herring among our oh so clever bashers, however who really know sfa!

My thoughts - get FDA approval, first. And last. Patents sell shares but oligarchs rule!!! And so does know-how.

Bottom line - join the oligarchs - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!!!

And, finally, why does NNVC need patents? Now? Why? To sell shares? To beat off competition? To become an oligarch?? Or simply to fuel those wiseass bashers???? lol

As I've said before for NNVC owns the trade secrets (IP) from their manufacturing processes they have developed making viricides in the Nanoviricides manufacturing facility based on the licenses the have acquired from Theracour so far.
NNVC owns the facility, but TheraCour runs it. TheraCour considers everything they develop and learn while running the lab to be TheraCour patents and trade secrets. See p. 42 of the latest 10-Q:
These licenses are provided for all the intellectual property held by TheraCour Pharma, Inc. that relates to our antiviral licensed products. These licenses are not limited to underlying patents, but also include the know-how, trade secrets, and other important knowledge base that is utilized for developing the drugs and making them successful.
It's ALL licensed from TheraCour.

The way I read this, the only information NNVC owns comes from a) Dr. Brian Friedrich, Senior Virologist of the Company, and b) work done by outside research labs. This information is generally limited to efficacy test results for drug candidates.
