Service providers with 56K access are a dime a dozen. I have unlimited access at $29.95 a month, plus "disk space" if I want to create my own web page. Had troubles recently with mine so I can't reccomend them, but there are some rating services on the web that will help.

You're in LA aren't you? Here's a Yahoo search for S. Cal.

I would stick with a brand name 56K modem like US Robotics, as I have always had install problems with odd brands.

I've got a 133 mhz 28.8 modem.I use NSCP 4.04.I'm going to buy the 56k.GD<<

Glen,

Make sure that you get the modem with the compatible 56k technology that your server supports i.e. 'x2' (US Robotics) or 'flex' technology. Some, or even most, support only one or the other. You will only be able to utilize 33k maximum if not supported by your server. Hope this helps.
