"he got fewer votes than the hated Hillary." You people keep coming up with this "popular vote number" angle. BUT THAT'S NOT HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS IN THE USA, for god's sake !!! Your Founding Fathers didn't think that was a good idea. So you have the Electoral College. If you now don't like it then get together in a large enough political union/force, etc, and Change It !! BUT until then, STOP WHINING and carrying on like spoiled delinquents just because that woman lost ... Jeez ... And as I've tried to get through to you lot (with little success it seems) :- ............................ If we look at the States where "No ID (was) required to vote at ballot box", and if you had to check, for yourself, which States Hillary Clinton won according to her Electoral Votes, you will find that out of those 19 States she won 13 and Trump won 6. BUT, more importantly, IMO, is the fact that Clinton's Electoral Votes in those 13 States added up to 176 !!! Her top 4 winning states, California, New York, Illinois and New Jersey added up, respectively, to 55+29+20+14 = 118 !!! .... MORE THAN 50% OF ALL HER ELECTORAL VOTES !!! Only 6 of those "No ID" States were won by Trump, namely, Pennsylvania, N.Carolina, Iowa, West Virginia, Nebraska and Wyoming which, respectively, added up to 20+15+6+5+4+3 = 53. Hillary Clinton won a total of 227 Electoral Votes. Of those, 176/227= 78% came from States WHERE NO ID WAS REQUIRED AT THE BALLOT BOX !!! Donald Trump won 304 Electoral Votes. Of those, only 53/304 = 17.4% came from those "No ID" States. Seems to me, that in the grand scheme of things, far more reliance could probably be placed on the "authenticity" of those who voted for Donald Trump than for those who voted for Hillary Clinton. ..................................... Now that's my last word on the subject .... if you don't like it, or wish to ignore it, then that's your indaba ....
