There are no leaps for GSTRF. This link provides all the available options for GSTRF.

GSTRF options have a pretty high premium due to its volatility. LOR looks better from a LEAP standpoint. Lots of time in case of surprises for a pretty low premium.

I prefer owning Loral over G* due to the diversification issues. The ultimate success of Globalstar will decide though whether Loral is a good stock or a phenomenal stock. I do have a bit of G*, but much more Loral. I am conservative with the LEAPS, preferring to be in-the-money as soon as possible. Thus, I only own 20's of JAN 2000. I prefer a higher delta, allowing my leaps to move more in response to change in underlying. You get a bigger percentage return with the 25's or 30's if the stock moves a great deal, but I prefer a bit more safety.
