Not the most reliable of sources, The Guardian, but you do indeed seem to have proven your point that Trump wanted to ban all Muslim immigration "until we understand it better". That's a bit extreme, in my opinion, but I still stand by his actions, which were to put in place the same bans that Obama had previously put in place to limit immigration from several predominantly Muslim countries in the Middle East, where the greatest danger of extremism was coming from. To me, this was eminent good sense. You can call it racism or whatever, but I think safety of the American people should come first over political correctness.
