Revenue recognition vs Booking recognition? Good point gentleman. Being in the software sales end myself (working for another non-competitive company), I do know the difference. My sources are very simple.....asking the Oracle sales rep in the next booth at a Vendor exhibit/show. SEC violation? You bet.....but guess what guys....they're not the first and won't be the last. WANG Corporation use to ship empty boxes to empty warehouses. Soooo....plz take my rumour/fact with a grain of salt. I've been hit with ORCL also (Brandywine Fund) so I'm feeling it also guys.
