I'd add, faithful to the Consitution as written. The letter of the law. The spirit of the law should never override the letter of the law, since spirit is subject to whims of interpretation, and isn't quantifiable. However, liberals are not above changing the meanings of words to create illegitimate power and leverage. So even the letter of the law must be researched for original meaning.
