The avg. household income in VT is $74K/yr. That's $37K ea. for Mom & Pop.
I worked at Amazon, and pay was $30K/yr ea., the same as other warehouses in the area. Warehouses like
Cardinal Health, Linens n Things, Tech Data, Drugstore.com.
Most of the people I worked with had spouses with better jobs, and
I don't recall any public assistance except the EIC on the IRS 1040.

Bernie is FOS! Vermont isn't that much better paid.

And I see VT pays 6% sales tax, while Delaware pays 0% sales tax.
Income and Property taxes are about the same in both States.
