You're more likely to get canned than voluntarily leave.
I was pushed out at age 60 for being "too slow".
But I was already thinking of leaving before injuring my back,
or something, that would make retirement less enjoyable.
Any small safety violation can result in termination, and
often does.
People want to work there.

Yeah, the 20-something low-level bosses can be pricks like that,
but most bosses weren't. One kid boss pulled a stopwatch on me.
When I told my co-workers they were upset and it never happened again.

I almost never took a leak except at break time, but this one time
there were no orders to process so I went. The ladies were PO'd.
They worked there from day #1, and said the kid better not pull
that on them!
