So once again that means it is up to all of you to read and share the truth. Via Investors.com: Household Income Jumps To All-Time Highs Under Trump — Why Isn’t This Big News? Median household income is up more than 4%, the economy is growing fast, optimism is at decades long highs. Not that you’d know it, since the press is too busy trying to drive President Trump from office. Inflation-adjusted median household incomes in July hit $62,450 according to the latest release from Sentier Research. That’s the highest level since Sentier started tracking this more than 18 years ago. And if you combine Sentier’s numbers with annual Census data, median household income is at all-time highs. More interesting is the fact that median household income has shot up more than 4% in the 19 months since Trump took office. It had been flat over the previous year and a half. Over the course of President Obama’s entire eight years in office, median household income climbed a mere 0.3%, Sentier data show. Overall economic growth is accelerating as well, after years of Obama-induced stagnation. On Wednesday, the Commerce Department boosted its estimate of Second Quarter growth to 4.2%. That means average growth for first half of the year was above 3%. And if it continues strong in the third quarter — as appears to be the case — chances are we will see growth for the entire year at or above 3%. That would be the first time since 2005. This, too, is a sharp turnaround that just happens to coincide with the Trump presidency. In Obama’s last year in office, GDP growth was an anemic 1.6%. The growth rate dropped in each of the last two quarters of that year. And economists were everywhere telling the public that 2% was the best we could do. Whatever one’s view of Trump, this is undeniably good news. After years of “unexpectedly” underperforming growth, the economy is giving every indication that it is returning to its vigorous norm. But instead of heralding this news, the mainstream press either ignores, downplays or tries to explain it away. As we noted in this space recently, The New York Times and others keep trying to claim that the current boom was simply the continuation of growth set in motion during the Obama years. *There’s a simple reason for this. The press is singularly fixated on bringing down Trump at all costs. Since good economic news will help Trump, it must be overlooked.*

Its a common refrain seen on social media every time President Donald Trump keeps a campaign promise. But critics have plagued him with skepticism about being able to keep one of his biggest promises: building the southern border wall, and at Mexico’s expense. But now it seems said critics may have to eat crow. According to conservative radio talk show host Wayne Allyn Root, Trump just kept that very promise and America is winning, yet again. “That was all before President Trump announced a United States-Mexico trade agreement. Because Trump talked tough and never gave in, US workers will benefit,” he wrote. “US carmakers will benefit. US manufacturers will benefit. US taxpayers will benefit. Trump did it. He won. We all won.” “Trump announced he will terminate NAFTA,” he continued. “While we don’t know all the details yet, I guarantee this new trade deal will save us tens of billions, perhaps hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade.” “Since the wall with Mexico costs about $25 billion, Trump just forced Mexico (whether they know it, or not) to pay for the wall. Once again, Trump accomplished what establishment politicians of both parties said could never be done.” According to The Hill, during a “meeting with FIFA and U.S. Soccer officials about the 2026 men’s World Cup,” Trump was asked about about the border wall. Trump’s response was that “the wall will be paid for very easily by Mexico. It will ultimately be paid for by Mexico.” Following this statement, the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs Luis Videgaray Caso took to Twitter to express, again, that Mexico will not pay for the wall. This, however, does not take into consideration the explanation Root outlined for how they actually will, knowingly or not, pay for the wall, via the trade deal. The establishment media has been rife headlines proclaiming that, “No, Mexico won’t pay for the wall, no matter what Trump says” rhetoric. Even on social media, his critics are disputing his claim. But, as with Caso, none have looked at the simple math of the deal the way Root did. Interestingly, on Twitter, Trump has not yet been taking a victory lap regarding the wall. He’s been hit hard for months about the wall promise but his tweets focused on other benefits of the trade deal with Mexico. He began with high praise for all involved in making the deal happen: He has also discussed how the deal will benefit our economy. Farmers and jobs have been big topics for Trump, even before this deal: Root pointed out that Trump is taking a page from Rush Limbaugh’s book with a “Don’t doubt me” standard. He wrote: “(W)ith Donald J. Trump there are no such words as ‘never’ or ‘impossible.’ Trump has chutzpah. Trump has cajones. Trump aims for the moon. Trump is combative and aggressive. Trump is driven to do what others say cannot be done. Trump is an eternal optimist. Senate leaders struck a deal on Tuesday to quickly confirm seven more federal district court judges, meaning President Donald Trump has now had 60 judges put on the bench. That includes Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. Sanders, who served as press secretary for the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), said it amounted to a hostile takeover and was "very underreported." "This has been very underreported, but folks do not understand that a hostile takeover of the courts by folks who are not even approved by the American Bar Association is happening," she said. "There are judges on the list right now that are not approved by the American Bar Association, and Donald Trump's lasting legacy, among other things. will be that he was able to reshape the courts for a generation, and that is something Grassley and McConnell are very tied to, and I think they don't want to see their ally in this effort go." The judges have been chosen based on counsel from the Federalist Society, a conservative organization. The group was also instrumental in steering Judge Brett Kavanaugh to his nomination to the Supreme Court; his hearings begin Sept. 4. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) canceled the annual August recess to accelerate the process, and his chief of staff Don Stewart said eight more of Trump's district court nominees are set to be confirmed next week. Liberals are furious with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) for making the most recent agreement with McConnell to fast-track the confirmations.
