As a former federal employee, so am I. When Raygun was doing it to me, I talked about how "proud" I was to be one of the front-line troops in the battle against inflation.

Everything Trump does has an economic AND a political stench to it.
95% of government employee political contributions in 2016 went to Clinton.
I'm sure this was a big part of Trump's calculation, exacting revenge on
government employees, where it hurts, when he made his announcement.
