Oh, I see your point now ND. Very interesting. That's just a different investment approach than I have taken. although I have waited a few days or even weeks to buy a security at a lower entry point. I've just never wanted one of my investments to decline for 20-25 years while accumulating on a monthly basis all those many years. One of the potential downsides to such an approach over a long period of time is that one loses the significant benefit of compounding, and essentially ignores the time value of money - interrelated concepts under appreciated by many investors.
