Hi Pete,
Maverick posted somewhere that SUNW would beat estimates. He is usually right. No telling what spin the "experts" will put on it though.

FWIW,
Robbie

P.S. That Teddy sure is an eloquent bastard isn't he!

Pete,

I don't see SUNW having any major impact on the networking stocks. Some of the chip stocks (INTC, LSI) have pretty good tie-ins with the networking stocks, as well as, the computer vendors. Unless something drastic was to happen with 3Com, Bay, and/or Cisco, I wouldn't expect any major down force from other company earnings reports. Now if the Southest Asia gloom and doom scam artists pick up their rhetoric again all short-term guesses are off.

IMHO,

Steve

anybody got a feeling on SUNW and how their numbers could affect the overall
networking market? (Numbers come out after the close today, I believe)

My guess is the numbers will be in line with estimates. Conference call will be upbeat. The market will be indifferent.
