Look- "libs" won two in a row with Obama. US politics tends to swing back and forth. It would probably be healthier, if you have to hate someone, that you direct that anger at republicans- since they suck way more than dems- for our purposes. You could, of course, engage in an internecine struggle with dems who aren't "pure" enough- but that led to pouting Bernie bros in the last election- not exactly the best of all possible worlds. It's true, that in the world today you really do have to check everything- and not just political stuff. I end up correcting people on Facebook (gently, just telling them something does not work or is not true) whether it's a terrifying spider invasion (that's killed!!!!) or making gray hair go away with lemon and coconut oil (seriously, how stupid are people?) Most of this dumb stuff is on Snopes- but for political articles, you just need to google- if you see EXACTLY the same story repeated word for word with no changes and no alternate stories you can be pretty sure it's Fake News (especially when you just see the story in the gutters of the right or left).
