One would need to find press on Ryan when he first ran for the House to compare. The article Sam first posted made the claim the her resume was comparable to Males in House OF THE SAME AGE. I at first thought that was unlikely, as I had been suckered by the bar waitress meme. After reading her entry on Wikipedia, I'm a bit enlightened. BTW, she shares something with Ryan: Her Dad died and she had to help her Mom make ends meet, and Ryan had the same thing happen to him. Ryan did work longer for political campaigns than she has. But that's the only substantive difference IMHO on their resumes. She went to a better college and had better grades.
