Perhaps you should acquaint yourself with the word "pandemic".

Perhaps you could explain the uniqueness of for "common defense" vs for "common good" for example.


Even with an apparent missing word, it would seem that you are supporting my point there. Dealing with a pandemic, like a war, is about common defense or common welfare. Common as in held in common, shared, general, joint, communal, not common as in everyday or prevalent or ordinary. There's nothing communal about a broken arm or pancreatic cancer. Those pertain to individuals.
