Celeryroot, I think that the big boy buying is related to H&Q. There were many analysts there, and they don't always rush to a corner to call in their order on their cell phone. As far as SA is concerned, I haven't talked to her in awhile and suspect that she is still in SF or wherever the deals are getting done.

Although one swap did account for 600K, quotecom shows 1.44 million on 140 trades which translates into more than 10,000 shares per trade. It's usual for LGND to get above 3000 per trade, but even without the 600K, the average trade is still north of 8000 shares. I strongly suspect that either 8,000 or 10,000 shares per trade is another volume record for LGND.
