I get multiple polls calling every day. I just hang up. Very wise choice! As I see things, it is no one's damn business - and I have never participated in a poll. That aside, there is now an even better reason not to participate - financial fraud. There are currently many telephone scams in search of people who will answer a question in the affirmative, i.e. "YES". Your response is digitally recorded as a "voice print" and can then be used for any number of nefarious deeds. Be particularly careful if: You don't recognize the caller They don't introduce themselves They immediately ask you something like "Can you hear me OK?" More about this: clark.com
