lml -- Yes, I was incorrect in mentioning Samsung instead of LG in the Quanta case, as I pointed out in my earlier response to Jim Mullen. Also, noted in the comments from a law firm that participated in a friend of the court filing in that case, the patent exhaustion view of the court did not cancel or invalidate a contractual agreement, which is the exception that, in my view, justifies Qualcomm's licensing agreements with firms making devices that use QCOM patent claims.
